OnGranada Tech City Ambassador to Canada

On June 3rd, Dana Shawish, president of Audazgo, has been named the OnTech OnGranada Ambassador to Canada. OnGranada is a technological cluster in the south of Spain that groups around 700 companies in technology and biotechnology.

The naming ceremony was attended by the president of OnGranada Tech City, Gerardo Cuerva, the major of Granada, Francisco Cuenca, the delegate of the government of the Counsil of Andalusia in Granada, Pablo García, and the provincial deputy of employment, Ana Muñoz.

Dana's mission is to build a bridge between Canada and Spain's innovation and technology sectors.

Audazgo was born out of the need that some organizations have to be audacious in order to survive the global economy. It also wishes to help dreamers with grand visions execute and make their plans a reality. The current global conditions require companies and organizations to think long term, have a flexible attitude, and act smart.

I've been involved in international projects since 2004 where I have had various roles within the chain of execution and I know that it takes a mix of a holistic vision, agile project management, strong leadership skills, and dedicated execution to make global projects work.

I am passionate about innovation in all its forms. I've often noticed that big innovations come from allowing differences from other sectors, other perspectives, and other ways of doing things. Being innovative is usually disruptive and is not an easy task. It requires communication, passion, dedication, and knowledge.
